What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a website in the browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and identifiers used to remember choices, maintain authenticated sessions, protect forms or measure usage.
Consent categories
Necessary
Required for security, session management, login, form protection, preference storage and core website operation. These cannot be disabled through the banner.
Analytics
Optional measurement technologies used to understand aggregated traffic and improve the website. No external analytics platform is currently declared as active.
External media
Optional third-party content such as interactive maps or media embeds. These resources are loaded only after the relevant choice where the page implements consent-controlled loading.
Marketing
Optional technologies for advertising, profiling or cross-site campaign measurement. No advertising or profiling platform is currently declared as active.
Current first-party technologies
Names ending with an asterisk vary by user or WordPress installation. Security plugins such as Really Simple Security may add technical cookies or server-side controls depending on their active configuration.
Third-party content
The contact page may offer a Google Maps view. The map is presented behind a consent-controlled placeholder and should load only after the user enables external media. Once loaded, Google may receive technical information and set its own cookies under its policies. Links to external websites do not load their cookies merely because the link is displayed.
How consent works
On the first visit, the banner offers equally accessible choices to accept all optional categories, reject optional categories, or customise preferences. Optional technologies should remain disabled until the relevant consent is recorded. Closing the banner without a positive choice is treated as refusal of optional categories.
Your preference is stored for 180 days, unless you delete browser data or the consent configuration changes materially. A new choice may then be requested.
Manage or withdraw consent
You can reopen the preference panel at any time. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent and applies to future loading of optional technologies.
You may also delete cookies using browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent login, preference storage or other essential functions.
Changes and contacts
This table must be updated whenever a plugin or external service adds or changes cookies. Questions can be sent to admin@giannottawebsystems.it.
